If you are a high achiever, exhilarated by a good challenge, thrive on new ideas, enthusiastic about life, get connected with ZPower!!!  We are actively searching for a qualified Manager, Maintenance/Facilities Engineering.  This role will manage maintenance and facilities resources and systems to support manufacturing, quality, R&D, admin operations.  Responsible for maintenance activities supporting custom manufacturing processes and commercial technology platforms to meet corporate and quality objectives.    Responsible for maintaining and improving preventative maintenance procedures and training of staff.  Communicate activities effectively to management.  Identify and justify maintenance and facility related projects that support Company objectives.  Maintain and track spare parts inventory.  Participate in lease negotiations, manage 3rd party contactors, and be responsible for utility costs.  Anticipate maintenance and facility requirements recommend capital investments to sustain corporate growth and success.

Lead the organization’s facility and maintenance functions to ensure employee safety and comfort.  Deploy facility and maintenance resources to sustain and support product quality objectives.  Manage the team resources to support operations in order to produce products in the facility that meet all applicable quality and regulatory requirements.  Complete facility and maintenance requests as required to support all departments. Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • BS/MS Engineering
  • 10+ years manufacturing experience
  • Working experience with engineering drawings and documentation
  • Mechanical, chemical, & material science experience; hands on
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience, preferred
  • Experienced with compliance to ISO 9001 manufacturing standards
  • Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access), preferred
  • Experience with CAD (Solidworks), preferred
  • PLC programming & troubleshooting, preferred
  • Familiarity with statistics software (JMP, Minitab, Statistica) preferred
