This role will manufacture products by supervising staff on 2nd shift; organizing and monitoring work flow for module team. Leads efforts to meet customer demands and requirements. Provides positive leadership example to entire organization. Responsibilities also include:

  • Completes production plan by visually scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results through KPI tracking.
  • Maintains adherence to Quality Management System in all activities.
  • Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; assist with deviation creations and tracking; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
  • Leads by example enforcing Company policies and procedures, plant wide safety rules and employee rules of conduct. Expected to work and lead the workplace in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. A successful candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Hands-on and detail-oriented, good written and verbal communication skills are essential, as interface with all ZPower departments, including Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality, R&D, Management and external customers and suppliers.
  • Must have ability to multi-task and work in high pressure, fast-paced environment
  • High School diploma; Degree preferred
  • Hand assembly work experience a plus
