Reporting under the general supervision of the Operations Manager for our battery side of production which is responsible for leadership of the Battery Operations team for production of rechargeable button cell batteries for the medical device market. Duties include:

  • Fulfills all Customer Purchase Orders by creating and executing production plan by visually scheduling and assigning personnel; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results through KPI tracking.
  • Develops, implements and tracks Operational KPI’s to meet and exceed customer requirements. Works closely with Process Engineering and Quality department to implement process improvements to reduce leadtime, scrap, cost and waste.
  • Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; Communicates the data throughout the organization.
  • Maintains and improves quality system by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Owns Corrective Actions related to Module Operations department.
  • Maintains and improves work flow by monitoring steps of the process; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; assist with deviation creations and tracking; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
  • Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; training, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ownership of the recruiting, selecting, hiring of staff and developing personal growth opportunities. Maintains staff by orienting, and training employees.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Create, maintain and audit visual work instructions & 5S visual standards
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. If you have the following requirements apply today for consideration:
  • 5-10 years experienced required.
  • Chemical processing and/or battery manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; business, operations management, supply chain management, industrial engineering or a related field preferred.
  • ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 Experience preferred
  • Strong manufacturing skills.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must have good math skills.
  • Must function well in a team environment.
