World's Highest Energy Rechargeable Microbattery
Through nearly two decades of research that resulted in over 100 published patents, ZPower developed a proprietary silver-zinc battery technology that can be recharged 400 times without losing significant capacity. In both practice and theory, ZPower’s silver-zinc batteries deliver more energy than any other rechargeable microbattery on the market today.Primary features include:
At each microbattery size, no rechargeable has more energy than our silver-zinc microbatteries. Silver-zinc cells have up to 88% more energy than the leading NiMH microbatteries and 22% more energy than Li-ion cells in the smallest Li-ion cell available today.
Through nearly two decades of research that resulted in over 100 published patents, ZPower has developed a proprietary silver-zinc microbattery technology that can be recharged 400 times without losing significant energy. Our microbatteries are ideal for medical device applications, wearables and any other application that demands long-lasting energy.
ZPower batteries use a water-based chemistry that’s stable, non-flammable and safe for medical and wearable applications. You’ll never have to worry about ZPower batteries leaking toxic materials or catching fire if they’re mishandled. Lithium-ion requires extra components to monitor voltage, current and temperature in order to make batteries safe. ZPower batteries have been tested by TUV Rheinland, passing all relevant UL2054 and IEC 62133 safety requirements. As a dry battery, silver-zinc is exempt from UN38.3 and most other lithium-ion international shipping regulations.
ZPower batteries are better for the planet. They are fully recyclable and mercury-free. This is a significant improvement over lithium-ion batteries, which are classified as Universal Waste and can only be “downcycled” into lower quality materials.
